About the Position: Building Leasing Administrator are the first point of contact for leading the organization. This role is primarily responsible for the general administration and oversight of the property and to ensure that a superior level of co-operation, service and support is provided to Residents thereby ensuring that Timbercreek is the preferred landlord of choice. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service:Ensure that a superior level of co-operation, service and support is provided to residentsPromptly respond to resident issues and service requestsBe available to residents for general inquiries about living in their suite, building and community Leasing: Demonstrate excellent sales/leasing skills by minimizing vacancy (maintaining an occupancy rate of 100%)Show prospective residents available suites, process resident applications and lease agreementsAdministration:Responsible for enforcing the terms of lease agreements, such as rent collection, rules and regulations, and following procedures of serving notices to residentsTake in vacancy notices, review rent ready and vacancy reports, age receivables and rent rolesGenerate POsOrder supplies Operations: Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the building (general maintenance and cleaning) Including:Receiving and scheduling service requestsResponsible for move-in, move-out proceduresAssist in training on-site Team Members (Assistant Building Managers, Maintenance Associates and Cleaners) on operational proceduresAll other duties within the scope of the job, as requested by management. Job Requirements:Completion of High School or general education degree (GED)2 years of related experience in a customer service or related roleExposure to the multi-residential or other related industry asset class would be considered an assetWHMIS certification would be an assetExperience with Fire Life Safety & Building Inspections would be an assetKnowledge of current laws, legislation and rights concerning residents would be an assetBuilding/Property Maintenance experience would be an assetComputer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Yardi, Email, Internet)Qualifications:A commitment to Best in Class Customer ServiceA professional demeanor with strong communication skillsA demonstrated high degree of integrity, discretion and confidentialityAbility to accurately listen, understand and respond to issues appropriatelyAbility to work and act independently using good judgmentAbility to remain calm and focused in high pressure situationsSelf-motivated individual with a can-do and no task is too big or too small attitudeSuperior organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task/prioritize and work under tight timelinesExcellent problem solving capabilitiesFlexibility to work on-call on a rotating schedule (evenings & weekends) Timbercreek Asset Management Inc. is an inclusive and equal opportunity employer.
